the pool - and the character. ..this hotel has been around forever but it’s still in excellent condition and the vibe is relatively sumptuous compared to newer, more plasticy chain hotels. …the pool with all the mature greenery and tropical pool bar gives it a special feel. Forty years ago when I first went there there were live parrots flying around in the pool area. Not any more, but it still has a special vibe in what is a rather soulless, airporty area. I’d never stay anywhere else near the airport.

Some reviewers really did not like this hotel - we expected the worst but we had no issues with the room, checking in etc. Reception staff kindly allowed my daughters to check in without me as I was delayed. Room was nice, accommodated 4 people, everything you would expect from an airport hotel. Bars and restaurants onsite and Starbucks for a quick breakfast.

Very convenient for the Airport. Nice quiet room. Nice bathroom. The restaurant is superb, and the staff are charming and efficient. The Reception staff are also extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend anyone to stay there .The breakfast was also very nice and very pleasant and helpful.

Reception staff went out of their way to give us information about the best mode of transport to the airport - and came out from behind the reception desk to ensure that we were comfortable with the touch-screen booking. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and the redecoration/upgrade that has taken place over the past few years is superb
